The Warwick Classic Car Show
The Warwick Classic Car Show
Every August, the roar of vintage engines and the gleam of polished chrome take over Warwick town centre. Market Place and its side streets transformed, for one day only, into an open-air museum of motoring history.
From 8am to 5pm, more than 140 pre-1990 classics, kit cars, hot rods, vans and the odd lorry line up wheel to wheel, each one a labour of love proudly displayed by its owner. Wander among post-war British classics, thundering American muscle cars and everything in between, spanning decades of design and engineering.
And it’s completely free
Free to visit, free to enter your vehicle! There are no tickets, no park-up fees, no admission charges, and no booking required. Classic car owners simply turn up early to grab a space.
That’s what sets the Warwick Classic Car Show apart from so many others on the calendar. Free entry for owners was the very reason Warwick Court Leet took the show on, because we believe in showcasing our beautiful town, and the people and passions that make it special, for everyone to enjoy.
We recommend car owners park up pre-9am; the show is very popular, and it’s first come, first served and first parked.
From a meet-up to a milestone
The show has humble roots. Back in 2010, Warwick resident Matt Phillips gathered a handful of enthusiasts for a small get-together called RetroWarwick.
Since 2017, Warwick Court Leet has organised and hosted the event, working closely with Matt, and watched it grow into one of the town’s best-loved summer fixtures, now drawing hundreds of visitors every year.

A community effort
“The Classic Car Show is more than just a line-up of beautiful cars. It’s about bringing the community of Warwick together, welcoming visitors, and showing off the best of Warwick ” says Richard Eddy, Herald of Warwick Court Leet.
“None of it would be possible without the classic car owners, drivers and enthusiasts who bring their pride and joys to town, the volunteers of Warwick Court Leet who make the day run smoothly, and the generous support of our sponsors and partners and supporters, such as Warwick Town Council. By working together, Warwick Court Leet is proud to deliver another free community event, open to anyone, in the heart of our historic town.”
Mark your calendar for next August — and come see Warwick’s streets fill with history on wheels.
